I want to use NewBB, but if I use this on a working site, people familiar with using any other discussion board are going to ask me how to view new posts. At present I don't have an answer for them. I have seen this requested so many times by other members, I think it warrants a direct question.

I've looked at all the options. xphpBBi appears to have been put on hold. BBpixel's phpBB and IPB solutions requires core file hacks that I really don't want to undertake.

Can someone clarify whether or not this will be a feature of the next version of NewBB?
