Server requirement to run XOOPS?

Some server can run XOOPS fine but some server can't seem to work correctly. What exactly does XOOPS require?

1. PHP 4.xx enable
2. MySQL database
3. Anything else? Like cookies etc...

Is there a single file script that I can upload to the server and run to test for XOOPS compatibility like the one they have at http://www.phpauction.org?

I hope some Developers will give me some clues.
