hello

does anybody tried that install a brand new XOOPS 2.0.9?
here is my problem which seems many modules are incompatible.
when i uploaded to module directory, and went to admin->module page.
it is a blank page, when i remove that module i uploaded, then module page went appeared.
does that is module problem or something else?
because all these module i had tested in 2.0.9 beta, and they were fine working with.

please somebody give me a hint if you experince this too and know how to solve it.

thank you for this FAQ.

i did turn on php-debug mode after my XOOPS installed.
no error in any pages, because this was a brand new install.
even has no other module installed to XOOPS system except "system control".
but the point is 2.0.9 beta has no this problem with all exist modules i have.
and even i didnt install those modules in xoops, just uploaded files to module directory.

that is my confusion here.

Perhaps some faulty code in one of the new modules' xoops_version.php - that file is read when going to the modules administration

could you try "colormatch" this module?

probably we need to do some modify in this kind of modules which appear blank page when browse in modules page.
added some codes or remove some codes in "xoops_version.php"?

'cause these moduels doesn't like that when i tested in 2.09beta.

Are you absolutely sure there are no PHP errors, when you go to the modules administration?
Does the blank page appear when any module is uploaded or when you upload a specific one (or two or three)?

yes, i am 100% sure that has no message appears like normally on the bottom.

if you don't mind, you can try my test site online.

and here is the list of error modules now i encountered, i really hope that is my problem, not deveopers' problem.
hakusen v0.13 (this one keeping reload page craze)
colormatch v1.00 (blank page)
snx_weather v1.07 (blank page)

oops, i reinstall entire xoops, that screenshot also been erased.

anyway, i reinstall to 2.09 beta to make sure these error modules.
it really has no problem in beta, all error modules in 2.09 release working fine.
