G'day,
I was wondering how to add a certian time to a block.
I am using my site as a travelogue and want to display the current time of the city I am staying in a block. I have tried using the time(), but I get bizzare results (eg. Current time is: 1102764896). The whole chunk of php in charge of time at the moment is:
//show current time
$time = time();
$block['content'] .= "
Current time is: $time\n";
My server timezone is US pacific time (-8:00 GMT) and my default timezone is east coast australia (+10:00 GMT)
I dont know all that much about php or xoops, so I am chasing my tail at the moment. I want the page to be able to display the time in my default timezone (currently +10:00 GMT) but I dont know how.
You can see what is it doing now by going to aussiechris.com and having a look at the "Chris' Weather" block (not the module).
If anybody can help, I'd greatly appreciate it as I am stumped.
Cheers,
Chris
