When a user logs into my site they are presented with their Account Summary page... I would like them to login and then be presented with the home page (as happens here at xoops.org). How is this accomplished? I can't seem to find a setting for it anywhere.

by default after login users redirect to the page that have been before. if you want users redirect to a special module you must hack some files please search in forums

They login using the login block most of the time but if that fails (type wrong password, etc) then there is the main login form.

I wasn't able to find any "HACKS" that would allow me to send my users to "HOME" instead of Account page...

Interesting thing and maybe someone can explain how this works to me...

One response in this thread said that you are logged back in to the last place you were... I tested a couple of different scenarios and it seems as if you have to use the Logout button to get this feature to work... Is that correct?

Is the last location stored in the database somewhere?

This happens when they acctivate their account. The only other way I would think this would happen is when they type in the wrong password as you said the page goes to: http://mysite.com/user.php?xoops_redirect=%2Fuser.php

Which when they log in correctly it redirects to user.php and when logged in goes to their profile. Does it go to their profile if they log in correctly from the homepage?

So it is the incorrect login (invalid password) that is causing them to go back to the user profile page. That makes sense and is a great help...

Thanks!!!!!
