I have a flash banner that normally shows only the neccesary content when loaded on a normal webpage. There is useless graphics that are not to be shown within the banner.

The problem is, when i place the flash banner in the XOOPS header position, it displays the entire file with the graphics that are meant to be hidden on a normal webpage. Resizing it only makes it worse because the header banner becomes huge to display the unneeded graphics.

Is there any way to cut down this banner so it doesnt show the outskirts of the animation?

if i'm not wrong you can take a look at your theme.html

find "<{xoops_banner}>"... your you can disable banner ads at system admin -> preferences -> general settings
