I tried the xoopsgallery page, but my problem might be with the XOOPS core code.

I installed the xoopsgallery module months ago and it works fine except for the blocks templates (new, random and recent). When I try to generate them in the template set manager, I get a red error message that says file not found.

I've re-uploaded the xoopsgallery code and chmoded the appropriate directories. I've turned on the debug mode in XOOPS and tried updating the xoopsgallery module--this is the error I get:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /path/to/homepage/modules/system/admin/modulesadmin/main.php on line 361

Without the debugger on, I just get a white screen inside the XOOPS template.

I've activated the block on my homepage. No images appear (because the templates don't exist), but this message appears inside the block:
Warning: Smarty error: unable to read template resource: "db:xoopsgallery_block_new.html" in /path/to/homepage/class/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1042

Has anyone experienced anything like this with xoopsgallery or another module?
