I ran xsas.exe and got
(A) a drive W: under E: with lots of stuff
and
(B) a nice XSAS screen
with a menu showing Start, Advanced and Docs.
When I clicked on XOOPS 2 on the first page
I got:
Msg line at bottom of screen shows:
Connecting to site: 127.0.0.1
Downloading from site:
file://W:\home\admin\WWW\index.htmlAddress box shows:
http://localhost/xoops2Nothing happens, the download light just keeps flashing.
Entering
http://localhost gives
"Downloading from site:
file://W:\www\README.html"
I can't find an Apache error log in W: [but see below]
There is a logs folder but it just contains nule.
The Windows Comp Mgmt Event viewers don't have any
useful msg's either.
W:\usr\local\Apache2\conf\httpd.conf has
"ServerRoot "/usr/local/apache2""
"ServerName localhost:80"
"DocumentRoot "/www/""
"#"
"# This should be changed to whatever you set DocumentRoot to."
"#"
"
"
"UserDir "/www/""
"ErrorLog w:/tmp/error.log"
but this file just contains:
[Mon Aug 02 10:12:43 2004] [notice] Parent: Created child process 648
[Mon Aug 02 10:12:44 2004] [notice] Child 648: Child process is running
[Mon Aug 02 10:12:44 2004] [notice] Child 648: Acquired the start mutex.
[Mon Aug 02 10:12:44 2004] [notice] Child 648: Starting 250 worker threads.
but this is ancient history
The access.log contains some weird stuff
but not dated today.
Was I supposed to be editing the http.conf file?
Hope you can help,
Peter.
