Hi,

Just started with the XOOPS 2.0.7. I do not know any php scripting yet.

Can anyone help showing me how to have 5 most recent title of a News topic to appear in a custom block?

I appreciate your help

Why in a custom block? Can't you just use the top news block? Do you want extra information in there? If so, editing the template might be the way to go - with more information on template cloning and editing Here
