I've noticed that exoops has a lot of nice modules.

Is there any way of converting exoops modules to XOOPS ones?

Sure there is a way. It's just writing PHP code

As exoops or better runcms now is different to Xoops, I think you have to do a little work on this.

Maybe you could tell us what modules exactly you like, maybe it already exists for Xoops.

Well, I am still on the quest of finding a module that will allow me (without editing files) add expandable menus to the main menu and links to the content. (not an ugly hack, etc).

Multimenu is not what I need, because of the following reasons:

1. It is not part of main menu.
2. It creates 4 different blocks with 4 different menus, and not one new block with expandable menu.
3. It is not nested menu.

To understand what I am talking about, goto http://www.modscentral.com/modules/news/, and look at their menu on the left. I believe it is done with Java, but I've seen similar things done with XOOPS too.

Could fairly easily get a tree type menu from one of the DHTML sites... and do something similar...
