Tying registration to another site?

I added an Invision board to my XOOPS site and I didn't know if there's anyway that registering on one of the two can be passed along to the other and registered there as well. I'm sure this would be a fairly complicated process but it's worth asking, to save users the inconvenience of registering twice for essentially the same site.
