As you can see Im kinda new after swithing from e107.
I was wondering how I can change my left menus(user,Main)
to use images instead of text.
I tried looking in the theme.html
Im gonna try the blocks folder to see if the file is in there.
Mainly I just want to do this in the User menu and the main menu.
Thanks in advance

Hi Lock13,

I'm sure you can do it, others have, it'll be a matter of customizing your theme. I personally would use images due to the performance hit. Then again you site loaded pretty fast so bandwisth conservation probably isn't high on your agenda .

You can do this very easily.
1. Clone your template so they can be edited.
2. Go to blocks admin.
3. Edit the main and user menus. You can insert the links to the graphics there. Remember to use Alt text to keep them compliant with W3C standards.

That's it.

Good Luck

You'll have to edit your templates to change the look of those blocks.

Administration>System Admin>Templates
Then clone the default set, you can't edit the original default set.
Once your template set has been cloned, select System (List) from the cloned template set. The templates can then be edited to suit your requirements.

Don't forget to select the cloned template set in your preferences menu, or your changes won't show.

*edit* Beat me to it, WarDick :P

Your advice is easier to understand anyway.

Best wishes,

Your other option would be to make a custom block just containing the links you wanted, then you could use whatever images you like. Once it is working, you just hide the original menu block. There's a module available called IMenu (I think) which could help also.
