Simple Really.

You copy over another theme.html's "left, centre, right, usermenu, mainmenu" sections.

Don't blame me if I screwed up, I'm a n00b!

Are you asking how to build your site from scratch??? Read the manuals. That should set you on your way

Benell,
What I 'hear' you say is:
"I've made this pretty picture of how I'd like my new site to look. How can do I turn that into a theme?".

The quick answer is: You don't.

A more detailed answer is that a theme is alot more then one pretty picture. You will need to split it up into parts, and then integrate that into css.
The Theme Development link on the left is a good place to start. Then you might want to go thru the forum.

Looking at your site, it appeare you haven't installed Xoops, yet... It might be a good idear to install it, then install some of the theme allready available themes, and play around to get a feeling with what you are dealing with.
Then you can start modifying the themese, and finaly you might make your own theme.
