To decrease some of the database queries when the pages loaded, I decided to kill the login block. Obviously, that would make it hard to log in. My plan was to add a block in the theme that would go away when the user logged in by using the and tags. This worked to some degree without the Autologin and Annonymous options. However, when I realized I forgot to copy those over into the block, I went ahead and added them in as well. That's when the site decided to hate me and keep me logged in, even when I logged out. I used the Remember Me option when I logged in, but when I logged out again, it should have let me log out. It didn't. Apparently it didn't want to let go and is maddly in love with me or something. In fact, I had to delete my cookies AND close/relaunch the browser. Damn obsessed login systems. So, I said screw it, and used the normal block. It was either that or get a restraining order.
So. That was intresting. Thought I'd share that.
