by chapi on 2004/2/9 11:02:48 Search for an index.html in your XOOPS root folder. If there is one, delete it! Because the following URL works fine! http://spencercountyrepublicans.com/xoops/index.php

by JackJ on 2004/2/9 1:25:26 I dont know a lot about 1.3.7, if it works similar to later versions you perhaps should have had your domain directed to: http://spencercountyrepublicans.com/xoops I am assuming you changed your paths since your original installation and its not your other problem with headlines causing problems. The modules/news part are set up in system admin/general preferences by setting the news module as your default launch module. XOOPS handles the re-direct to the news module. (if yours works similar to recent versions) I would also check out "mainfile.php" to see if the correct paths are set. I believe earlier versions used config.php? regards

by SigShop on 2004/2/8 23:16:58 I have had XOOPS version 1.3.7 installed for 6 months and it has been working fine. All of a sudden my main page was gone even though I had did nothing to it in the past few days. Anyways, I have the domain re-directed to this: http://spencercountyrepublicans.com/xoops/modules/news/ It seems that a headlines script garbled up the site. After removing the headline block everything seems fine except that when i hit the HOME link on the site (which defaults to http://spencercountyrepublicans.com/xoops/) I now just get a blank page. All other aspects of the site works fine except for the home link. Any Idea's? Thanks in advance. Steve
