However, you will have to assign the user rank one by one for each registered member from the Edit User Profile. Users cannot assign the rank themselves. If you have just a few members, this might not be a problem.
Also, you must remember that the User Ranks are
independent of User Groups, i.e. they do not have anything to do with each other--just because you assigned a Webmaster Rank to a user, it does not mean he belongs to the Webmaster Group, and vice-versa.
