First off I would like to thanks XOOPS for this great script.
I have started to work on my site ( still under construction )http://www.northoftoronto.com and ran into a problem with X Directory. Instalation went fine and I started to add Categories to it. In the block the text buttons, Submit,Popular and Top Rated work but when you go into the directory and on the buttom you see (Submit a Listing) it give me this message.

Not Found
The requested URL /modules/xdirectory/submit.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Just wondering if it's a bug or something I have to change?

Also I'm adding Categories one by one and it looks like it's going to take me a few months to get it up at this rate. Is there a way to add the categories all in one shot or do I have to keep on trucking as I'm doing now?

Cheers all

Hello Munchcra,

In the file: /templates/xdir_viewcat.html

on @ line #9 replace link:
Submit a Listing

with this
Submit a Listing

That should fix your problem.

As for the categories...
If you are using phpMyAdmin to administer your DB then its just a matter of creating a .txt file of the categories and then import them using the import function.

If you don't have phpMyAdmin then you'll have to type them in one at a time.

hope this helps.

Did you updated the module?

Any time you make any changes to a template file(or any .html file) you need to updated the module.

go to administration menu >> system admin >> modules then click on the hard drive looking icon to the right of the xdirectory module. Click "Update" and that should refresh the files to show up on your site.
