| Problem with Subdomain and links in bc_blue template |
| by Kenors on 2003/11/19 14:43:57 I'm fairly new to XOOPS but I was able to set it up. But, I've run into a problem when I tried the fc_blue theme. The way that I have the web site setup is as a subdomain under my main domain. The subdomain is setup so that you can access it directly by just typing it in (i.e. http://www.subdomain.com) and the user is automatically redirected to the correct location. They don't know that it is a subdomain at all. The links in the menus on the left side of the screen work without a problem. But, for some reason the links that are in the header on the top right hand side (as part of the fc_blue theme) try to go to the http://subdomain.domain.com address. This link just give me a blank screen, so I'm assuming there is an error. I've gone in and manually updated the links in the theme.html file to point to the correct address but it still does the same thing. So I guess my question is...What is the difference between the links in the menus on the left and the links in the theme? (I'm guessing it has something to do with the location of the files within the file structure, but I'm not sure why this would affect anything.) I'm hoping somebody out there has run into the same problem and might be able to offer some advice. Thanks for your help! |
