| by yavanna on 2004/7/10 20:29:32 i'm using phpbb bulletin board 1.21 ..actually,it has one profile but you can get in there from 2 ways;user menu[main page] and forums page. after uploading an avatar from an external link i see my avatar link in forums like this[which is normal] http://externallink.com/image.gif ..however same link is shown like this when I click on my profile from main page: http://www.mypage.com/uploads/http://externallink.com/image.gif .. i don't know how i can fix this code,i'm new at this thing .. these are example images of 2 profiles: user menu profile: http://www.sihirlisayfalar.com/screenshots/usemenuprofile.gif forum profile: http://www.sihirlisayfalar.com/screenshots/forumprofile.gif |

| by Herko on 2004/7/10 19:45:23 What forum are you using? Not newbb (the default XOOPS forum module), because that doesn't have a separate profile. I remember the Invision Power Board module replaces the XOOPS user profile with it;s own... So I don't see where you are having this problem, could you please elaborate? Herko |

| by yavanna on 2004/7/10 19:22:16 this forum has a huge database,i couldn't find a related topic so here is my problem:when i choose an avatar for my forum profile,i can't see it in user menu profile,there is nothing but an 'X'. how can i make both forum and user menu profile has the same avatar? I want my users to upload their images and see those images in the user menu as well as they see in forums. i've problems about editing that code  .. thanks
