I wonder however if we shouldn't make a pre-alpha 3 thread and start there since this version of xoops is so much different than the alpha 2. For the same reasons I think having alpha 2 being advertised on login as confusing and we should instead have a "2.6 pre - alpha 3" link pointing to the news page that announced the github and current development. I would suggest that it would be appropriate to decide at registrationwith a simple checkbox, whether to receive updates and notifications to registered users. Instead, for anonymous users to use a newsletter (since the fine work done by Lucio Rota for the module xnewletter) How do you think? |
