| by Mamba on 2013/9/11 13:54:23 You might need to restart the installation process. To do so, copy the "mainfile.php" file from the XOOPS distribution to your directory. This will force a fresh installation. |

| by redheadedrod on 2013/9/11 9:24:18 If you have a problem during the installation you may want to delete the entire thing and start over. There can be an issue when you don't make it all the way through. Especially if the mainfile.php has been updated. Also make sure you are using a user account on your host that is allowed to change file permissions and copy stuff around. |

| by rekful on 2013/9/11 3:39:34 Hello every one, I am having an issue with my installation of xoops. I have got it to work fine the first time until I got to step 7 when it told me that my mainfile.php and mainfile.dist.php could not be moved, so I went and changed the permissions and tried it again. Now I get nothing but a blank page when I go to http://localhost/xoops-2.5.6/htdocs/install/index.php and I can't figure out what the issue is not. I have stopped my httpd and restarted it as well as mysqld service but still the same issue. I used 777 and 775 to see if it would change anything and "Nope, still the same thing" Can some one please help me out here, I have at the cross street and can't figure it out.
