There is something similar already: Tad_Book3 RC1 module, so you might take a look and see what you could leverage from the code there, especially the TreeView for folder structure. Check out some of the books available there done using Tad_Book3: http://www.tad0616.net/modules/tad_book3/ Ultimately, it would be nice to have a TreeView structure on the left (both in User and Admin view), and done with jQuery or something similar, so the page change wouldn't reload the whole site.
