What you can do : - manage pages (static or not) - order pages into categories - display a block with links (it replaces Main menu, you can add entries dynamically from FmContent and add customized links) - rewrite uri - tags... What you can't do : - manage news (prefer News o xNews modules) because pages are ordered by weight, not by date - coffee... It is a must have ! You can build simple pages (imprint, ...) and a complete documentation site. |

| by mondarse on 2011/6/9 6:49:09 Hi, I have just read the fmContent 1.05 Final release, and I have some questions/comments: - Looking into the fmContent source I can guess it is designed only for xoops 2.4.x and above, that's right?. I have not found any info in the news. - What is fmContent for? Is it a news/xnews/publisher replacement or some kind of static html pages manager? - If as said in the news: "You can build static and dynamic pages with this module, what's the difference between fmContent and TinyD? Does fmContent manage "static html" in php files like iContent does? Does TinyD? Thank you so much for your help. |
