by Cancasa on 2010/7/20 15:09:36 Hi zyspec It will be a site for a thrapist, specifically bodywork ie neuromuscular technique/trigger point therapy. I'm looking at having something that I can also have a mini blog to post articles about the therapy, test cases and results etc..but it should have a nice simple layout for users. As someone who is not a designer or coder I'd like something that is easy to add content and update. Sorry if it's not precise but still trying to decipher the best way to set up.

by zyspec on 2010/7/20 13:54:27 Welcome Cancasa.... We might be able to help steer you in the right direction (modules, themes, etc.) if you can give us an idea of the purpose for your website. For example is it for a company, a club, the general public, etc. It would also help to know what activities your users will expect - chat, blogs, photo album, articles, forums, classified ads, shopping, etc... For example if all you need is to post some 'static' pages and have a 'Contact Us' form then you can do that by installing a 2 modules and you'll be on your way to adding content...

by Cancasa on 2010/7/8 8:23:21 Hi Didn't know which section to post this but for someone who is new to this software and not too versed in coding, what would be the easiest/best way to go about using it to make a simple website. I know this is a very broad question but any advice or tips would be appreciated as I'm hoping to develop a small site for a therapist. Hope someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks EDIT:Is there a section on here where there are examples of sites using XOOPS?
