Re: Uninstalling incomplete modules

you can try to upload the module your site and click on the uninstall button to uninstall the module. if that does not work. you need to remove it from your database at phpmyadmin, look for a table name "xoops_modules" and "xoops_group_permission".

Hi,

Try to upload the module again to your modules root, and make sure the name is the same when you uploaded it the first time. If this didn't work, I think if you upgrade your XOOPS version to 2.31 you'll get the solution. Good luck.

Uninstalling incomplete modules
by sjneow on 2008/10/26 5:38:22

I've uploaded a folder that I thought was a module but during the installation process it says "Module file not found", so I assume the problem was that the folder wasn't really a complete module, but the module exists in the list of installed modules(without any names/icon) but I can't uninstall it, I have even deleted the folder of that module, here is a screencap for the list of installed modules, please help, I just want to remove it now.
