You are right again. I was using the default template but the theme I was using (zen_ocean) had the Remember Me code commented out. I didn't realize that there was a template for the login block in the theme. I thought it used the system block.

You mean, you don't have the 'Remember me' checkbox like here on XOOPS.org?
Are you using the profile module?
It is probably not in the template from your theme or templateset.
Check once with the default theme and templateset.

The only reference I see to remember me is in the line for setting Name for User Cookies. I have a name entered in that box yet I don't see the Remember Me check box in the Login Block on my site.

Can anyone suggest how I can fix this?

I had this problem to, but i have fixed it by adding this to xoops_root/header.php (Just after the <?php tag):

i have the same problem, onley wen i or any of my members enter the site, the get the block for login bu when i clik on any link in the menu i see i'm still loggin? so i dont have to put my username and pasword in the login block will become a user mennu block.
