Re: My website has been hacked and I believe a mod from here did it

All this talk about hell... i have been there and the road to hell is actually paved with asfalt..

There is a place in Norway named Hell.. the road to the boring little place is called 'highway to Hell'..

Glad to see your spirit is back, John...

Hey JAVesey, all this re-action because of your post ^_^

Yeah.....but think how many posts there would have been speculating as to who it might have been

If? You mean you have your doubts?

Hey JAVesey, all this re-action because of your post ^_^
If you're innocent you don't have to justify your self, man!
For the others, shame you didn't ask for apologies from some
foundation and icms guys who mock you.

And if you want to be honest and a good moderator,
explain users that xoops_trust_path and protector module
are supported by developer at XOOPS Cube HD distribution

Morality

John Ray, in 1670, cited as a proverb "Hell is paved with good intentions." Even earlier than that, it's been attributed to Saint Bernard of Clairvaux (1091-1153), "Hell is full of good intentions or desires."

A millennium later, got the all road to Hell being paved this way, and not Hell itself, I don't know. But i fight the poisounous people here and was accused of hacking too.
The community benefit but none get ever apologies!

All right cool. Maybe something is missing, like the Frameworks or the Xoopseditor. Or the trust path may have some typo. Id suggest he double check everything. Glad this is finally over.

a public apologize is a fair action

I'm not looking for an apology; serap didn't actually say it was me (but it was pretty clear who was being referred to!) and reached a conclusion borne out of frustration. Got to admit that I'd have been suspicious too.

Rather than keep this thread going, please could someone (or more) PM serap and offer him some help? Installing Protector would be big help.

We went through it step by step but maybe I got the procedure wrong; the trust path was created and mainfile.php patched but the module wouldn't actually install. IIRC, the module couldn't be seen in the admin panel.

On a personal note, thanks for the messages of support but I think I'd like to let this thread drift off into the sunset now.....
