Yes, thx Bandit-X, that's another useful option.

To be honest, I had hoped the 'New Posts' feature would show a list of topics containing new posts - rather than the posts themselves - like phpBB does. It's still a good feature though and worth highlighting.

For reasons best known to the administrators, new posts in some forums here on Xoops.org no longer appear in the 'recent posts' block on the homepage. IMHO this is simply going to encourage people to post in the wrong forum to ensure their posts get seen, however please remember you can see new posts from ALL the forums by opening the forum index page and selecting the menu option:

Forum Options --- View New posts

or, bookmark and refresh this page
