| by RealyRoten on 2008/1/21 12:10:23 yea that broke it, no worries, i shall leave it till they fix this series so it gets decent user profile system like 2.2 as got. 2.0.18 might be more stable but it's weak as it stands for community web use. |

| by RealyRoten on 2008/1/15 14:12:15 yea but using user names that you login with is kind of wrong, user names like passwords are or should be lowercase for ease of quickly logging into a site. The 2.2 series quite happily displayed Real Name in all modules and so was much tidier to look at. Its just plain wrong that your user name is displayed, that should be hidden for obvious reasons. Also that smartprofile will need updating ever time XOOPS as a major update so it just gets messy with things not being compatible. There must be a real simple solution to this |

| by trabis on 2008/1/14 13:37:45 In my site I use smartprofile and allow users to change their username. I also changed somethings on the registration to allow users to enter spaces in their name. |

| by RealyRoten on 2008/1/14 10:32:23 Just reverted back to 2.0.18 from 2.2** Modules like shout box display the log in user name as oppsed to Display name, is there any way to force XOOPS to show Display name instead of user name. User name is messy and some people like to change tags when they wish, this is why 2.2* was far better... |
