They are spamming your e-mail, they will spam websites, they will continue to spam until they stop making $$$. I do not want to just stop them, I want them to stop trying. |

| by BlueStocking on 2007/9/17 3:08:12 IMORTANT: _____________________ FOR ALL THOSE WHO DEAL WITH SPAM. ______________________ - Spam removal hint. - 1) pick up copy of - Your Page_Backup for copy and paste - then - 2) Remove all (empty) the content from the spammed page WITHOUT saving, (this is important) - 3) delete the page - 4) Where it asks reason, erase what is there and replace with the word "empty" (this is also important) - 5) Paste copy into edit page, making new page and then save. - The reason for this is it leaves no trace in the RSS feeds (or database) - for roll back. - just replacing with 'spam deleted' or other message leaves the - spam on the RSS feed visible. - - IF its new user made new page then omit the copy content into new page step. Erase and delete without saving and it is over, not even in history. They have nothing to show they even tried. They have been beat. - I checked it with this link xoopswiki feed on Giba's page Giba Verified its accuracy. __________________________________ I now USE SPAMMERS PRODUCTIVELY, as a reminder to refresh a RSS feed page that NEEDS manual updating.
