| by vaughan on 2007/1/9 22:24:51 based on those, it would be far easier & quicker to install from XOOPS 2.0.16 from scratch rather than trying to update everything. do a database backup beforehand for the news (providing you need to keep the existing data) as it maybe possible that it could be imported back to the current news module with some minor edits of the news tables in the backup.. |

| by crowbarcberg on 2007/1/9 19:16:30 I am taking over administration of a site using version 1.3.8 and want to know if it is a good idea to try and upgrade it manually (I can't find any patches for that old of a version). Or should I just create a new installation and try to copy the data from the old version to the new one?
