by m0nty on 2006/11/30 16:44:05 XOOPS 2.0.15 or any XOOPS version does NOT use a xoops_trusted_path. so if you are having trouble with xoops_trusted_path then you must have either installed 1 of GIJOES hacks or you are not using XOOPS and are using XOOPS Cube instead.

by kerkyra on 2006/11/30 10:56:44 i'll do that and i'll let you know guys! Thanks for your help! (by the way not using any dublicatable modules or the hack from gijoe's or XOOPS Cube just the XOOPS 2.0.15 version with the multilanguage hack which I've already used again with no probs!)

by Quest on 2006/11/30 2:59:20 I think stephan88 is correct. I myself have never heard of the xoops_trusted_path until your post this morning. And I have used and upgraded with 2.0.13, on up to 2.0.16. I forget, are you actually using GI Joes fast cache or the Cube? I don't use a couple of the modules you have listed. Maybe you could (if you haven't already) systematically deactivate or even un-install them one at a time to see if one of the modules is giving you problems. Quest

by stefan88 on 2006/11/29 21:39:36 I think you need XOOPS trusted path only if you are using fast cache hack, Duplicatable V3 modules or XOOPS Cube 2.1. Regular XOOPS modules should be placed in /modules folder.

by kerkyra on 2006/11/29 21:15:13 sorry about that the first link is http://www.corfumusicevents.net not .gr! I dont use any weird modules that need the XOOPS trusted path! I've never ever heard of it, till now! Is there any way to disable it? As i read in this forum (if i remember correctly) i had to upload the modules in the trusted path as well in order for them to work! It's some kind of security measure in order for XOOPS to dissallaw any other scripts from running from another location! I just want this to be disabled! The modules i used in corfumusicevents are picall, polls, wfdownloads, newbb and liaise! I've used those modules before with no such problems! I really can't see why this happened!
