| by jcbaber on 2006/7/6 21:02:29 Hi, I am running XOOPS 2.0.14 with WAMP5 (1.6.4) on a local machine and would like to share the site for testing with other computers on a LAN (behind a firewall). After selecting 'Put Online' from the WAMP icon I can connect to the front page of the site from other machines using //MACHINE.COMPANY.local/xoops/ (the local machine names are all defined). However, when I try to log on to the site the page re-directs to //localhost/xoops/user.php I have tried with the IP address directly (it is static) but after interacting with XOOPS the connection is always re-directed to localhost. I did set the 'Your IP Address' in the XOOPS preferences but can find no reference to localhost anywhere. I have also tried with the WAMP UseCanonicalName directive (from httpd.conf) both On and Off with no luck. Am I missing a setting? Can someone help me please? Cheers, JCB |
