it can be done....however it takes a little work.

Places to look for info:

search here for 'Multisite Hack'

Check out Xoops-Tips site for some info on how to have different themes for different pages/modules on your site.

They both work, as I have tried and accomplished both....yet, it turned my groovy CMS into as much or more work than a regular html driven site keeping up with all of the edits hacks and mods required to get what I wanted.

However, thats me.

Happy Xoopsing!

Sub Portals

Hey guys, I just started using XOOPS last week and I like it!

I have a question though. I was wondering if it is possible to implement subportals. I have the domain http://www.leadmonkey.net . I want to use subdomains such as C.leadmonkey.net. I would like to use different themes if possible between them. However, I would like to share the same content (i.e. downloads section, forums, ect.). Now, I know I can do the navigation and the sections module, but not sure if I can use multiple themes. Do i have to install several instances of Xoops, or is there an easier way to do it?

Thanks,

CM
