(standard, secondary... ?) can we have a link to a demo webpage ? |

| by idealcrash on 2007/5/22 13:35:27 installed MM 1.8.2. In the settings when i choose the '[Menu]'-format, everything is working. but wehen i choose horizontal dropdown (or any other style) all menu items disappear... Ideas? Solutions? |

| by lucidlee on 2007/3/3 16:08:03 Hi I've read this thread and others with interest without seeing anyone referring to some of the problems I'm having with MM1.8. In short I'm trying to replace three horizontal javascript menus on a page with three horizontal dynamic CSS menus. I'm slowly conquering the various inconsistencies but I'm stumped by these problems: 1. I need variable item widths on each menu but can adjust it only by editing the block width in the menu preferences 2. I need the widths of items on each menu to be independant of of those on other menus but this doesn't seem to be the case I assume solving 1 will also solve 2 and assume that there's some setting in the CSS that will fix this but haven't found it yet. 3. I can't get any submenus to appear. Is this a z-index problem? 4. I want the search box on the top menu and can get the data entry field and the button to appear and function but no text appears in the label or in the "advanced search" link afer it. 5. The bottom menu needs to have submenus that pop up, rahter than down Here is the production site with JS menus: liveACSP Here is the development site with top and middle menus in MM: devACSP |

| by blueteen on 2007/2/5 12:57:13 hello, it's not very simple, and for the first menu, it needs few hours to create your own menu (based on existing menu for example). there are some tips about "create your own menus and variable available" here : http://yourwebsite.com/modules/multiMenu/admin/index.php?op=help&Help=05 and you must read lot of code of existing multimenu's code to create yours. i'm agree that a plugin to manage the menus would be better. multimenu needs to be completely rewritten, lot of work
