Re: Xoops official modules?

Yes thats true it is, but as an average joe member, you can't expect everyone to go out and seek the informatio they seek.

Most members may not know about this devteam site, there are other XOOPS sites aswell, but to find the information you want does that mean in depth searchs on them all.

People come to xoops.org as this the main hub, the one site which has been XOOPS from the begining, they expect to find the information relelvent to them here.

Devteam site implies it's for the Dev team, so why should members have to go there to find why and what.

dev.xoops again implies it's for devs, none stable modules, development modules, etc, etc, so again members should not need to go there unless they are beta testing, getting involved, etc, etc.

Members come to xoops.org for the information they need.

David, I don't mean anything nasty by this, I will go to the dev team site, but the team, can't expect all members to do this, especially not the new ones whom maybe seeking the same information.

Not strictly obsolete:

2.2.4 will be upgradable to 2.4.

2.2.3 will be upgradable to 2.3, then later 2.4.

2.4, how far away is that, because first we have 2.2.4 2.2.5 and so on to 2.3.1 2.3.2 and so on again, so you could be stuck we one version for a long period of time, whilst the development of 2.2.3 will be regulary updates?

Any way if it is the case they can be upgraded to new versions in the future, why is it recommended not to upgrade to these now, as they seem far more superior.

Also looking at the alpha version, does that mean that when its stable we will lose the nice admin that 2.2.3 has now? and will the pm and profile be re-intergrated? It looks that way in the alpha.

It's good to hear someone is still developing, didn't realise it's only been in the last two weeks though.

So what was the reason WF-Projects ended?

Few weeks - 4 weeks I think (I lose track of time! ) - as for the rest, well check the news release on the wf-site or at http://www.smartfactory.ca

On the other hand, I appreciate the new design: very well done, much more intuitive item organization.

This whole versioning thing is getting very complicated here at xoops.

Hey David,

It's good to hear someone is still developing, didn't realise it's only been in the last two weeks though.

So what was the reason WF-Projects ended?
