by gestroud on 2006/1/14 19:34:15 You'll probably need to create a new mimetype for mpg files. This page will give you the info you need to fill in: http://filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=mpg Hopefully, it's easy to understand, though I have to admit it didn't make much sense at first. After you fill in the mimetypes, just choose either Windows Media Player Video or Quicktime Video as the default player.

by gestroud on 2006/1/14 17:26:24 Here's what you do to add your new file to debaser's category listing. 1. In your admin section, click on Modules-->debaser-->Single Upload. 2. Don't fill in the first section that says, "File" 3. What you want to do is fill in the option that says, "Ext. Link." Fill that in with the url of the file you uploaded. E.G. http://yoursitename.com/modules/debaser/upload/filename.mpg. (If this doesn't work, the url may be too long. You can go to http://www.tinyurl.com and create a shorter one.) 4. Fill out the rest of the fields. 5. You should be all set. 6. I added your houseboat site to my favorites. I'll be getting on in a couple of years. May as well do it through XOOPS

by tgotch on 2006/1/14 16:47:18 I just installed debaser, looks awesome...I have this same problem trying to upload a large file. I have uploaded the file via FTP instead. Is there a way in debaser to now move this .mpg file to a category for viewing? I have uploaded the file here: modules/debaser/upload/
