| by ZPC on 2005/10/29 17:43:44 regarding content ... I wonder ...regarding the displaying problem ... it's not ideal even in FFox ... the center alignment of some part doesn't work correctly, etc. But that's problem of the theme and its CSS ... some polishment work would have to be done to correct/clean all them... regarding the shoutbox ... idea of having ilayer with height="100%" is kinda nice ... but for some MSIE dificult to handle. Try to put there some exact number instead of the percentage... i.e. width="100" will do the work. If you don't know where to set it up ... ummm... I think it will be in the shoutbox block (or template) ... I tried it on saved html page localy and it worked for me, should work for you as well. Take care and happy xoopsing |

| by McDonald on 2005/10/29 15:07:30 He's using a Tokelau (.tk, more info here: http://www.dot.tk/) extension for redirecting and having his url simplified. The problem with Tokelau are the popups which might give problems with some popup-blockers, same as with free Lycos websites. The normal url for the site is http://www.siriusweb4free.com/felix/ (while http://www.siriusweb4free.com is running on Mambo...and if you have a look you know why he's using Tokelau )

| by DonXoop on 2005/10/29 14:41:59 Well it certainly helps to have the actual URL... I can't say because I'm not on an MS broswer or OS. But I was surprised to see a big ad as the page and some attempt to popup something. Then suddenly it redirected to an XOOPS site. Is this some kind of freebie hosting server that intercepts calls to the sites or is that redirect and popup by design? My guess is that the problem lies there. |
