| by LazyBadger on 2005/8/27 23:46:01 I always have winer time as base timezone on my sites - daylight shifting leave to handle OS... and have correct time for events... always... From other side, BIOS-time configured to GMT and LINUX process ttimezone-settings at OS level. If you have shell-access, you can try "date" and see (show) results |

| by Fastian on 2005/8/26 3:44:30 Sorry. I should have told that i am sticking with XOOPS 2.0.13.1. Now let em explain. As i said my Web Server time zone is GMT -8. My time zone is GMT +5. But when i publich a ews at some day @ 5:00 am. It appears in news with time 8:00. SO it is always adding + 13 differenc. Regarding XOOPS settings. I tried different things and i always get some time difference. What i want is when i publish any news with my time zone. It should appear Exactly at that time. In XOOPS prefrences i have this. Server time zone = GMT -8 Default zone = GMT And in my admin user profile. My time is GMT + 5. Should i chage default time zone??? I tried it with GMT +5. But the error is alwasy there (although different). |
