| by dickinsd on 2005/7/9 16:45:30 Can't remember if this feature was with the standard version of newbb that came with xoops, all of my sites have had a newbb upgrade since I first installed xoops. (but I think the feature was available.) If you go to the amin menu and then to the preferences for the forum module you should see an option: Show user IP Make sure this is set to yes. I think it was there in the old forum, but now 100% sure. Dave |

| by Yero on 2005/7/2 21:59:06 Hi, This is probably a stupid question, but I'm trying to locate the IP of someone who is screwing up in one of my forums. I thought the IP's were easy to find, but I can't locate it anywhere within the newbb forum. (while being admin) That's weird, because the IP's are shown in the old XOOPS 1.3.x which I still use for another site. Also, the ip's are also shown in comments to news etc. So, why not in the newbb forum? Am I missing something? Is there a way to show the ip's there? (I'm using XOOPS 2.0.9 with standard newbb) Any help would be appreciated! Regards, Yero |
