And in trouble in my job because of this sorry event.[/quote] I think your company might be over reactioning to all of this, many open source software have issues and XOOPS is going through a sticky phaze at the moment only due to the changes that have taken place recently. I have been with XOOPS for nearly 4 year in one way or another and I can assure you that normally this ship sails quite smooth. As for software developement, lets not kid ourself here. Open source is a case of 'up and downs in the developement cycle' and we have to learn to adjust to that what ever inviroment we choose to stay in. I would say that XOOPS has the best modules around, both in the quantity and quality (You should have been around 3 years ago when we didn't have that much to choose from lol). That is completely correct. XOOPS.net is also a parked domain, but for sale... Would love to get thatone too

me too now. and i've tried to stay neutral to both sides of brazil, but i've had enough now too.

xoops.com was only acquired by XOOPS recently (within the last couple of weeks or so) this was not acquired out of business or commercial interests.. it was acquired because the domain name was previously registered to someone else who had nothing to do with XOOPS (i believe) and xoops.com recently expired and previously it wasn't used or doing anything so when it expired it was a good opportunity.. so i believe herko jumped in quick and purchased the domain so as to keep it for XOOPS.. there is no commercial aspect to it that i know of.
