| by jdseymour on 2005/5/6 3:31:21 If you do not yet have a forum installed, just upload newbb 2 to the server and install just like any other module. See the Module Install Flash tutorial if you have not installed a module before. HTH. |

| by Ctyler06 on 2005/5/6 3:17:19 I am such a newbie to all of this and am trying really hard to get everything. I was hoping to do this on my own, but am a little stuck.. Okay, so I have downloaded newbb2 into my computer and it's ready to go, I looked at the tutorial but it was just for upgrades (unless I read it wrong)what do I do once I have it in my FTP program? I don't have it installed yet in Xoops, as I just signed up this evening for everything. So the only thing in my Control Panel is the System Admin. I did look at the forum module in my Administration area and it said it is for phpbb? I really don't want to use that forum, so how can I get the newbb2 in there instead? Can anyone help? Please use easy to understand language as I am pretty clueless right now
