| by CanguroB on 2005/4/26 1:09:04 Lol, if it gets too complicated I'll just make my own in html ... It doesn't need to be a XOOPS module :p What's this hiring of a dev you speak of ? And what be these amazon modules? arg (sorry, just came out kinda pirate like). |

| by brash on 2005/4/26 1:04:29 One of the Amazon modules might come close, but nothing I know of that specifically fits your requirements. Considering you have less that 8 months to your wedding (congrats too ) you may want to consider hiring a dev to knock something up for you.

| Gift List. |
| by CanguroB on 2005/4/26 0:59:49 I'm getting married in Jan next year, and am considering setting up my own gift list rather than going through someone else's service. A module that enables you to do the following would be grouse: 1) Enter a list of desired gifts (can be used for anything, not just weddings). 2) Can enable you to enter a suggested value (just to give people an idea of the approximate cost for each item). 3) People can just click a tick box or something when they buy a certain item. This should not actually remove the item, simply strike it out (so people can see what has allready been purchased). 4) A special item that enables you to instead of just ticking it off, rather enter if you are donating a certain amount of money toward it. Eg, one item for us could be a "Bed Fund", total needed $2000, then people can enter the amount they can donate toward it (as their gift), and so it deducts that amount from the total left, striking it out once it's reached $0. So, any takers? (or better still, are there any modules out there allready that enable all of this?) Cheers, -D. |
