I did post this on the AMS website. He said he was using the default uploading program and had the same problem. So I figured I would ask here if someone knew about it. I like your option, but my windows users would get confused. |

I have found it much easier to show powerpoint files after converting to flash with Open Office. Building Microsoft compatability within a XOOPS module from what I understand is very hard. You can see a rough example powerpoint converted to flash Here. HTH. |

| by wayneroesner on 2005/4/8 21:51:06 I cannot seem to upload .ppt or powerpoint files? Submit article, select file, Next screen shows error uploading file. I tried adding the mime type to class.mimetype.php and added it to $permittedtypes array variable. still not working Any ideas? Is this an XOOPS problem or a AMS 2.4 issue? I want to be sure to post to the proper forum. |
