I don't know why but the default charset for the MySql databases is latin_swedish_ci ; maybe the problem comes from that ? Does anyone know how to modify the default charset in MySQL (phpMyAdmin) ? thanx J. |

The problem I have is only with title bar where is written the content of the <TITLE> tag. and with the javascript alert pop-up .... the accents work but only the "apostrophe" -> ' appear with the code " & # 0 3 9 ; " If you have any idea ... |

| by twitaman on 2005/3/13 20:30:54 It sounds as if you all are having problems with quotation marks/apostrophes/accents. It's a common thing and it's due to the evilness of magic quotes. | by Pnooka on 2005/3/13 12:33:02 Well, i don't see any problems on the page in question. I'm using maxthon as a browser on Windows XP SP 2, and no problems with FireFox or IE. So i don't understand what your problem is.
