I think I grok the difference between themes and templates at a beginner level; themes describe the appearance, and templates handle content. So the proper process is: A. download the themes in zip format, to any old place. B. unzip then create the tar C. use the template manager to upload the tar file, and XOOPS will take care of the rest. Is that right? If not, can you provide a link to a discussion on this. Very few themes come with template sets. To unzip in Linux, just use unzip from the command line. Here's the man page: le="color: #000000"><?php UnZip 5.50 of 17 February 2002, by Info-ZIP. | by Mophilly on 2005/2/17 16:36:46 I work on a Mac using Firefox. I want to load new themes in the XOOPS root on my server running Linux. BTW, the server has no gui at all. It is a server, plain and simple. When I visit the Themes Library and click on download, it hands me a zip file. Yet the admin page requests a tar file.  Is there a selector somewhere? Should I use wget to download the tar files? Where? How? ... help |
