| by brash on 2004/11/3 4:10:36 There is a backup module just for XOOPS you can download from http://www.nagl.ch which I use. However, for most of my MySQL Admin work I use PHPMyAdmin. There is a XOOPS port of PHPMyAdmin, but the problem here is that if your whole site goes belly up, then it is going to be no use to you. For PHPMyAdmin to be of any REAL use to you I think you need to use the vanilla stand alone version which can be downloaded for free. |

| by jva1601 on 2004/11/3 1:47:24 Hi Martle, How I back up my XOOPS database is through Webmin which has a module that performs this task automatically once you set it. Restoring is also pretty straight forward. I use it overall to manage my server together with vi. Of course this is assuming your using Linux. Regards, jva1601 |
