i have that hvmenu1 dropdown bar in the header. i assume it may cause it. is there any ideas on how to prevent it from doing this?

thats right. i put another theme that doesn't use this bar and now it's alright. super!

no i was wrong. i'm giving up. it's the matter of mrki_biz theme itself. I deleted any mention of any java script in it including those of google etc. but it just wont work. what's wrong with it/ it works even with the XOOPS 2.2 default theme..

Check your onload and make sure they are chained.
