CBB 4.0 is only for testing.

What we call a "production site" is a site that is open to the public.

All modules that are "for testing" might contain bugs that will result in disappointed users or might expose you Website to hackers.

Therefore please use CBB 3.08

Yes, very nice discussion, indeed.

That's what I was hoping we would have in our thread here, with more "mock designs" and proof of concept.

And I would like to thank UrbanSpaceman for his visual contributions there, but I am sure that we have more designers who could show us their "dream design" for XOOPS Website...

Anybody? Please respond in the original thread

Originally it was the "last login", but since it won't get updated for users who click on "Remember me", we've changed it to refresh on all users who are currently logged in.

So it's pretty much the same - to show when was the last time that the user was visiting XOOPS.

When we were moving to the new server begin of May, I've updated the IP on the nameservers, and everything worked fine.

The problems started sometime last week, and when I went there yesterday on advise from our Surpass technicians, the nameservers were pointing to our old server, so maybe they had multiple A records and I didn't see them before, or the host company run a backup restore and has overwritten the new values.

Right now it looks good, but I would like to hear if any of our users still experiences any problems.

I think, the issue is fixed. Could you please check it on your end?

Ghia, I forwarded your email to Surpass.

This is what I got from them:

Quote:
Your domain is pointing to the correct nameservers which are pointing to the correct A record. You can verify this for yourself:

http://www.intodns.com/xoops.org

If it is a DNS problem, it lies somewhere at the resolution end. I assure you, your DNS settings are correct. If this truly were a DNS issue at the nameserver or registrar level, then none of your users would be able to view the site.

If there are any server side issues, this would have to be a malicious redirect or iframe insertion, something which I can find no evidence of on the server.

I am happy to continue working with you on this issue, but until we can reproduce this somehow, we just won't be able to get to the bottom of this. Have your users contacted their local ISPs regarding this issue? I would be interested to see what their local ISPs have to say about this issue.

So, can some of the affected users contact your local ISP and ask what is going on on their end?
