this is the errors when I turn on debug:

Did a TOTAL reinstall and same thing occurred after installing and trying to use the content module. Says cannot create fckeditor config file.

Attempting to re-install just the class folder now. If that doesn't work any other suggestions?

Well, nothing has changed. I still cannot access FCKeditor as well as not being able to update with the regular editor. I can post initially with the standard editor but I cannot update, the submit button is missing on the form. HELP PLEASE

On my test environment, these problems don't seem to be occurring (mamp) but on my working server, same install I get no custom blocks in the center section and cannot use any wusiwug editor in any module. the only difference is I renamed xoop_data and xoops_lib and added protector.

This is one type of error example using the "content module": "This page cannot be displayed due to an internal error.

You can provide the following information to the administrators of this site to help them solve the problem:

Error: Cannot create fckeditor config file."

Anyone want to help me get this thing going or have any suggestions?

Yea, I found the cache yesterday but found it cumbersome to flush the cache via my control panel as ftp wouldn't work no matter what permissions I gave the folder. So, in order to speed up the correction, I just adjusted and renamed the theme and chose the new name for the theme, applied the new theme and voila, "avec" gone! Is there a module I could install that allows me to clean the cache files via browser?

It seems I spoke too soon. Even though I changed the theme page the avec still persists. I have nothing in the template_c other than index.php. How can I fix this?

Never mind. I solved it. It was in the theme by xoops-design. Right in the theme page: <title><{$xoops_pagetitle}> avec <{$xoops_sitename}></title>
Removed it and all is well!

If you look at the tabs for each page it says avec somewhere in the title. Happens with Safari as well as firefox. It's in the page tabs. Maybe I should have said MY install of 2.3.3.

I believe this is the french word which means "for". So, I click on the news link and get: News avec constitution.... in the tab in my firefox browser. default language is english. I'm puzzeled

Narrowing down the problem. It seems that any module that uses any-other editor besides dhtml cannot find the editor. NO FCK, no tiny, etc. What am I missing or what do I need to change. Current installof Xoopseditor is the one that came with 2.3.3.
